Substance use among youth is on the rise locally, and youth struggling with sexual orientation and gender identity concerns also experience unique challenges. This workshop is for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies seeking to understand the risks and vulnerabilities that our youth face, and how community support can be provided.
Details about speaker:
Daniel Ho (Master of Psychology, Clinical) is a mental healthcare professional who has experience working with stigmatized minorities and at-risk youth populations in the local context. This includes volunteering at community-based organisations that work with sexual minorities and other individuals in substance use recovery who have experienced trauma.
